The year has brought amazing oppotrunities to present research, master class, record an album, and perform in a variety of venues and companies! Debuts were made and companies were revisited!
That being said, the big news comes with two big announcements! My wife, Olivia Yokers, accepted a position at Stetson University as Director of Opera and Assistant Professor of Voice starting in Fall 2024. She will finish her DMA at UNLV over the next year.
I have also accepted a new position as an Assistant Professor of Voice at Emory University starting in Fall 2024. We are stoked to have jobs in the same time zone and close enough for a puddle jumper flight or somewhat long drive. I love ATL and my community there, so it’s going to be great to get back to the south.
